The Barre Room began as a dance attire and footwear retailer in downtown Uniontown Pennsylvania in the late 1970's.  A local ballet instructor, Katy-Lyon-Palumbo is credited with the creative name for our store.  

Today, The Barre Room is located at 684 West Main Street in the Westland Shopping Plaza, between the Park Inn by Radisson and the Hampton Inn in Uniontown.

We are a full service specialty dancewear store offering the very best merchandise to our wonderful and loyal customers.  We offer first class, individualized, attentive service along with a wide variety of both personalized and ready to wear attire.
